A cell was spotted at 2100 AEST south of Sydney.

The strom followed a very warm day is Sydney of around 32c at times.

There have been no reports of damage as yet and the storm moved out to sea.

It was a very visual storm with lots of lightning. Seen from as far north as gosford.
